I don't hate AI art at all. I think it's really neat seeing what the tech can do, but if you are selling the art you generated with AI, even if you go in and fix the 18 wacky fingers yourself on every image, the only kind of artist you are is a con-artist. People trying to profit off of images made by using the styles of real artists with real talent who laid all of the groundwork for what you're peddling as your own art just seems wrong. I've seen artists with very little talent trying to profit in questionable ways before, but the AI art thing really brought the leeches out of the swamp.
